Let's do all we can to help Joplin!

As most of us already know, a town very close to my heart and home, Joplin, Missouri, was hit with an F5 tornado on Sunday, May 22, 2011. It destroyed about 25% of the city and claimed 125 lives thus far. It ripped right through the heart of a densely populated residental and business area, and many lives, homes, and businesses were lost.

To donate $10 to the Heart of Missouri United Way, which has launched a Joplin Relief Fund, you can text "JOPLIN" to 864833, and it will simply be added to your monthly cell phone bill. It's very simple, and if everyone gave just $10, it would add up very quickly! Let's do what we can to help rebuild their lives. 100% of all donations go directly to disaster relief in Joplin.
